Nothing new, but it’s something that works well in my class and that I find really beneficial. At the end of a lesson, my children reflect on their learning and write the numbers 1, 2, 3 or 4 in their jotters to show how they feel about where they’re at in their learning. It didn’t take long for children to become open and honest in their reflections and for them to be able to explain their reasoning.

You can download my free Self-Assessment Posters resource below. If my free resources, posts and book reviews have helped you in some small way, it would be lovely if you could support me by buying me a coffee, or a book to read my baby Adaline. Please don’t feel like you have to though!
