Affiliate Disclaimer

As an Amazon Associate, I earn a small commision from qualifying sales made through affiliate links. This helps to pay for the running of this website, but you are absolutely welcome to search for the item directly instead. The price you pay for the items is the exact same regardless of whether you use my link or not, but the choice remains yours to make.

The content I create for teachpal.co.uk, I choose to make because I think it will help other teachers like myself. I therefore write honestly and openly, with complete editorial control over what I do and don’t say. This means that if I am ever sent an item, for example a book to review, I decide if, and what, I write about it. I will also be very clear about how I received the item, so if it was sent as a gift, you’ll know that it was. If I haven’t stated how I received an item, then it’s because I bought it myself. I’m constantly buying books for my class, so this is often the case. I’d guess I’ve bought over 400 for my class so far, so I have plenty to be getting through!

On some posts, I try to link to items that I myself find relevant and useful. So for example, on a book review I may link to books by the author, or on a post about literacy CPD I may link to books that helped improve my teaching of literacy. I’ve not been asked to link to these items; I just find them useful so think you will too. Again, whilst I appreciate you clicking through those links to support this website, you are most welcome to go direct to Amazon and search for the items yourself.

It is important to me, that you are able to easily distinguish between normal links and affiliate links on my website. Affiliate links will therefore always be text links with an asterisk (*) next to them, or image-based banners to services such as Amazon Prime/Audible. For related books/items, I put the asterisk in the title, but I also put the word ‘affiliate below the item images to make it extra clear. To track your purchase, Amazon uses cookies.
